This morning, we went to a used book sale at the library. You could get a grocery bag full of books for $1. We filled up two bags, paid our $2 and then went to Dairy Queen for lunch.
On the way home, Timothy was singing a song that he had made up. I didn’t recognize the tune. It sounded kind of like the Smurf song.
Here are the words:
Daddy loves Timthy (Repeat 4 X)
Timthy loves Daddy (Repeat 4 X)
Zachry loves Timthy (Repeat 4 X)
Timthy loves Zachry (Repeat 4 X)
You get the idea. There were two more verses featuring Lemilee and Mommy. We were all singing by the time we got home. Timothy didn’t really appreciate us joining him in his song, but we did anyway.
It’s good to know that my children know their family loves them and that they love their family. That’s my goal. No matter how much stuff my kids know, I want them to know that they are loved.
🙂
I’m sorry I missed it. I hope he’ll sing it for me when I get home.
