We had the good fortune of spending Thanksgiving surrounded by family this year. We spent Thursday in Amarillo. We went to Golden Corral for lunch. There were 17 of us! It was a great time.
After lunch, we all went back to Gran and Granddad’s house. We visited for a bit while watching TV. The kids played outside. Some had a tryptophan nap. Soon it was time for a football game to come on, which meant it was time to get a board game out. Scott had told Emily about Encore, and she really wanted to play it. So, we split into teams and had a great time!
After going to visit Granny and running some errands in Amarillo, we headed up to Canadian where we stayed until Saturday. The weather was beautiful, so we were able to spend lots of time outside. Today, we even went to an elementary school to play on the playground. It was great!
Here are some pictures from the trip. These are mostly from today.
What did you give thanks for this week?
