The Great Snowstorm

Well, Plainview got hit! Even though the weather stations were giving 100% chances of snow accumulations of 3 in., I had my doubts. It certainly is nice to have a career which involves predicting the future but for which you are not expected to be correct. Nevertheless, they were right. We received at least 6 inches (probably more) of very heavy snow. It was the kind of snow that was six inches deep but when you step on it you don’t even sink more than and inch or two into. Great for snowmen and for snowballs.

The family had a great time getting out and playing today. I thought I’d pass on a few pictures and a video. I used YouTube for the video but there is also a link below if you want to download the video. You’ll need Quicktime to view it.
